I had entered a few blog giveaways including one hosted by Liz at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anutinanutshell.com\/2012\/11\/oreo-play-up-dessert-fall-recipe-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">A Nut in a Nutshell<\/a> where she asked the OREO kit winners to recreate a dessert from the OREO Play Up Dessert recipe booklet. Inside the booklet there are a lot of really cute Fall and Winter dessert ideas all using my all-time favorite cookie \u2026 OREOS.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31653\" title=\"Holiday Stuffed OREO Cupcakes wm\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20150526031821im_\/http:\/\/foodfamilyfinds.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Holiday-Stuffed-OREO-Cupcakes-wm.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Stuffed OREO Cupcakes\" width=\"630\" height=\"778\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since Fall and Thanksgiving have already passed I thought it would be fun to turn these into a more festive dessert using red velvet cake and the limited edition holiday OREOS that have cute designs on the cookie and red creamy filling inside.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31654\" title=\"Snowman and Snowflake OREO Cupcakes for Christmas\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20150526031821im_\/http:\/\/foodfamilyfinds.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Snowman-and-Snowflake-OREO-Cupcakes-for-Christmas.jpg\" alt=\"Snowman and Snowflake OREO Cupcakes for Christmas\" width=\"630\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you cut through the stuffed cupcake you can see all that OREO goodness inside. And when you eat them warm, right out of the oven, the cookie is soft. They look pretty darn fancy too when plated on a vintage cake stand.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31655\" title=\"Holiday OREO Stuffed Cupcake\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20150526031821im_\/http:\/\/foodfamilyfinds.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Holiday-OREO-Stuffed-Cupcake.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday OREO Stuffed Cupcake\" width=\"630\" height=\"585\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"easyrecipe\">\n<div class=\"ERSIngredients\">\n<h3 class=\"ERSIngredientsHeader ERSHeading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">Holiday OREO cookies, about 25<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">red velvet cake 1 box<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">marshmallow creme, 1 cup<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">COOL WHIP, 1-1\/2 cups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"ERSClear\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERSInstructions\">\n<h3 class=\"ERSInstructionsHeader ERSHeading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Set oven at 325 degrees (F)<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Place an OREO with the design facing down into each of the liners<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Prepare cake mix as it is directed on the package<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add 2 tablespoons of cake batter over every cookie<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Bake around 20 minutes<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Put marshmallow creme in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds and whisk with the COOL WHIP<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Remove cupcakes from the liners and slice in half and put one dollop of the fillings between each layer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Related Posts<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodfamilyfinds.com\/how-to-incorporate-pine-pollen-in-your-food\/\">How To Incorporate Pine Pollen In Your Food<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few days ago I got a surprise delivery.
