Weekend Things

When my weekend starts with Starbucks, I know it’s going to be busy which is funny since I actually took the weekend “off” from working. The idea was to relax, get the house cleaned up and just play with the kids.

It all started because my husband took my whining about not having my own car seriously for once. That led us to Landmark Ford where I found two cars I really liked.

First, the Ford Mustang I’ve always wanted. It’s the color I’ve always wanted but missing some of the options I didn’t want to go without.

Then I took a closer look at the Ford Fusions which remind me of my old Alero, a car I LOVED. If it weren’t for my unrelenting desire for a Mustang, I’d buy this car in a heartbeat.

Long story short, we ended up looking at a black Mustang in Litchfield that was perfect but dealing with the salesman didn’t turn out the way we’d hoped. We walked. Numerous internet searches and phone calls later, we found exactly what I was looking for in Hazelwood, MO.

So now the plan is to drive there and close the deal. Maybe. I’m wishy-washy on my decision because it means having a car payment that I’m not sure I want as much as the car.

After a long and mentally exhausting weekend we ended up with three of the cutest kids in town at Red Robin.

How was your weekend?

  1. How exciting! My weekend wasn’t the greatest as we had to say goodbye to our 14 year old kitty, it has been so hard this weekend.

  2. Car shopping would be so much better without car salesmen.

  3. Sometimes it’s good to walk away and think about things to make sure it’s really what you want!

  4. So sweet, that’s a very exciting weekend!
