The last two weeks have been extremely rough for a number of reasons. My schedule, family activities and all of the little things in between have really knocked me off course with my workouts with the Total Gym. It’s a sad truth, but I’ve fallen back into the role of putting everyone’s needs before my own and my dedication to fitness has taken a back seat.

But I’m not giving up, I’m a fighter and I’m going to continue to fight for myself, just at a much slower pace than I had originally planned. For my last week of the challenge, I’m going to give myself one last push to lose at least one pound. Small goals are easier to attain right? From there on out, I will continue my workouts because I have no excuse not to. The best part of owning the Total Gym is the fact that it’s a HOME gym. I always have the equipment accessible, day or night.

If the Total Gym is something you’re considering adding to your fitness routine, they are offering 15% of your order when you purchase from the link below. (just click on the banner, not an affiliate link)

  1. I myself want to take a challenge to get into better shape. This one sounds amazing though! I might want to consider checking this one out myself.

  2. Oh by the way, I totally love your blog theme. Did you design it yourself? It’s completely adorable!

  3. I’ve had a hard time fitting in my workouts for the past 10 days or so. I’m really trying not to beat myself up and just remember to park far away from entrances, take stairs when possible and choose good food.

None of us are perfect and I’ve decided that when I do better it’s better than doing nothing at all. :)

  4. Donna B. says:

Good luck in this last week!

  5. I myself have had a lot of trouble fitting in working out this week. Thing get crazy sometimes. The best time that I have found is when I get the kids in bed and just before those late night cravings set in, to get some working out done!

  6. It’s hard to find time to exercise when you’re as busy as a mother, caregiver, wife, cook, housekeeper, etc. Just do the best you can and that’s all anybody can ask of you :)

    Good luck!

  7. I’m glad I’m not the only one who is fighting a schedule. It is so hard!

  8. Its hard to find that time…especially at home! Hang in there. And if you don’t find the time, at least you can use your total gym as a clothing drying rack. :-) (or send it to me…)

  9. Heather Henderson says:

This seems like the busiest, least motivating time of year and I pack on the pounds. I think the most important thing, like you mention, is to just not give up because that’s when things can really begin to spiral. Thanks for the update and inspiration to continue.

  10. I’m glad to see you aren’t giving up Cat! Don’t be discouraged that the schedule isn’t exactly what you planned. I bet with your perseverance, you’ll soon get back into the routine you were working on before.
