I seem to have thing for wraps lately and my weekend lunch was no exception. I had a big bag of tortillas left over from a taco night and thought it would be fun to make one of my favorite sandwiches into a less messy and less calorie filled version. It still isn’t diet friendly but weekends are for cheating right?

I pulled out my packages of Hormel Natural Choice turkey and ham. Much like the grilled sandwiches I love at the mall, the meat is diced and quickly grilled on the stove top until it’s steamy and hot. To save some time I also used the Hormel Fully Cooked Bacon so I wouldn’t have to spend more time frying and waiting to get a big bite of this meaty club sandwich.

Do you have a favorite “classic” sandwich you think tastes even better grilled and wrapped?

  1. Yum. I love eating wraps for lunch. You can fill them with healthier ingredients and have a full meal!

    • Absolutely. I need to make another batch of whole wheat tortillas to have on hand, they are so much better than the store bought ones.

  2. Great recipe! I wil ltry this tomorrow for lunch!

  3. Sounds yummy and looks delish. I’d probably leave out the ham personally, but everything is fab! I tweeted this out!

  4. Looks yummy! I think I would skip the tomatoes though.

  5. Now I’m craving a wrap. Looks like I will be adding the grocery store to my errands list.

  6. Do you know of any wraps that are gluten free and taste half way decent?

  7. I also love wraps. I eat breakfast wraps, wraps for lunch and maybe even dinner.

Wow, thank you so much for this recipe. I’ve been craving a BLT type of sandwich lately, but I especially love wraps. So this is perfect. Nabbed your recipe and I’m making it for my dinner tonight. And you’re absolutely right, homemade tortillas are the best. I often make them.

On step 5, you say “add cheese”, but the cheese wasn’t listed in the ingredients! I just dug through the fridge and found shredded cheddar cheese and sprinkled it on top, but would love if you could add the cheese into the ingredient list so I’ll remember next time. What kind did you use?

  10. This looks like a fast and easy way to fix it. I will be doing them tonight. Thanks for the recipe.
