Mom’s, how you are getting added fiber and calcium into your kid’s food at the dinner table? My guess, it’s not with liver and onions and brussel sprouts! Before I go into this further, just take a peek at this 2 minute “SuperMom” video from Ronzoni, it’s a hoot.
Okay, so really, no kid is going to get excited over food high in calcium and fiber like liver, or brussel sprouts, but they will get excited for the oh so kid friendly…spaghetti and meatballs! Typically, pasta isn’t bursting at the seams with calcium and fiber, but the new Ronzoni SmartTaste pasta has been enriched with it to make eating healthier so much easier for families.
Ronzoni Smart Taste pastas come in five shapes:
Each serving of the spaghetti pasta has 3x the fiber* and calcium equal to an 8 oz. glass of milk. One serving contains 25& of the daily value of Fiber compared the the 8% of the daily value per serving for enriched macaroni products. Put simply, it’s a great alternative to the foods you know your kids wouldn’t dare touch.
Personally, our family loved the Ronzoni SmartTaste pasta. Just last night we sat down to platter of spaghetti and meatballs, not one person noticed I was using a different brand. The pasta came out nice and tender, just the way we like it. Since we are a family that frequently eats pasta, this has become the perfect replacement for our pasta meals.

I have never heard of this brand before, but it sound great. I love the idea of the mozz. inside the meatballs, I just may have to try that. BTW, did I miss something? Are you not having your other blog Food for 5?
