Summer is almost here and we’re thinking about how we’re going to keep the house snack stocked. This summer, Nestle has introduced several frozen treats in bulk sizing that include fan favorites and new variety packs that are perfect for everyone in the family. For a family of five like ours, these are the perfect option for us when we’re all craving a different frozen treat.

We all love Drumsticks! I usually get the Variety Packs so we have a few choices to switch it up a little bit!
Thankfully, we all love the Skinny Cow’s. The kids prefer the chocolate and my husband and I prefer the vanilla so it works out very well. The other frozen treat we like are Dole Frozen Juice Bars. I would love to have a freezer to satisfy our cravings, especially for our entertaining of 40 people weekly.

Every Sunday evening, we have church for 30 to 40 people at our house, so I would use these frozen treats as a dessert on a hot summer evening. My kids would like to use them as their friends hangout around the pool. Without a doubt, they would be consumed by family and mainly friends.

Summer occasion- I’d offer these treats on our family’s Friday night “sandwich nights”- it’s our end-of-the-week easy meal. Sandwiches, chips, salad, eaten on our covered porch. Great for hot weather, and almost no mess to clean up afterward, so everyone can relax. A frozen treat would be a great way to end our meal- and no additional kitchen mess!

The summer occasions I would incorporate these frozen treats into, to make it more fun for my family is when we’re having fun outside. these would be a great treat for an afternoon of swimming in our pool. How I would incorporate the treats…
Treats are just that – treats – meant to be enjoyed in moderation. My fiance and I are both slightly overweight, and together we’ve been doing our best to become healthier – but that doesn’t mean denying ourselves the foods we enjoy! After a long bike ride we collapse and relax with a cold treat. Nestle products are almost all under 200 calories, making them a great addition to our diet and new lifestyle. We’ve lost a combined 20 lbs so far!

I would incorporate drumsticks into our 4th of July celebration. Everyone loves ice cream on a hot day! I would just make sure to keep them in an ice chest so they don’t melt. :)

I think the one my whole family would enjoy most is the Each Nestle Snack Size Variety Pack but I would be all over the Skinny Cow ones. I LOVE those. So yummy!
I would definitely incorporate these into our after swimming routine. We swim a lot in the summer and I’d put them on ice packs in a cooler and let them eat them after they swim. They would be super excited.

we would use the freezer to store party/BBQ foods!! We love to have get togethers at out house in the summer! It would be perfect to be able to stock up on hamburgers and hotdogs (and even freeze the buns and rolls) for the parties! and those huge boxes of ice pops that are always getting in the way in our regular freezer!

Okay without a doubt I want Skinny Cow Vanilla ice cream sandwiches. However my husband and my children LOVE the Lil Drums. They eat them every single night. I love how perfectly sized they are for the kids and trust me, my husband doesn’t need a regular size either.

I would use these yummy summer treats while my kids are playing in the sprinklers in the back yard. We got them an entire pool/sprinkler type thing for our new fenced in backyard. They can’t wait to get out there and play.

The kids love to play outside all day. Ice cream is the best thing to cool us off. I’d go out and watch the kids jump on the trampoline, or ride their bikes around and they’d be begging by the time they were through…lol.
My Husband and oldest son like the Orginal Drumstick the most. My youngest son likes the Lil’ drums the most and I like the Dibs the most – however-I really should stick to the Skinny Cow!

Skinny Cow for me! I see they have come out with new Single Serve Cups of Ice Cream too {the Caramel Cone flavor looks divine!!}. My 2.5 year old son loves Dibs…as does my 21 year old step-daughter! And my fiancee loves to have the Original Drumsticks on hand. Also, I really want to try the new MaxiBon by Nestle…unfortunately, it is only available in European countries and Australia. :(

6/1 Summer occasion – the drive-in. The local one closed but there’s one 30 minutes away. Nothing better than grabbing a pizza and some sodas and a cooler full of ice cream, and watching the movies @ the drive-in.

another entry for today..I would use these after my bike rides also. My kids and I go biking only about once every 2 weeks and do not go very far but when you have 3 kids your looking after it can get really hot and this would be a good break to come home too.

The last of school (before summer begins) is a great occasions to incorporate these frozen treats into to make it more fun for my family & friends.
I would like to try Skinny Cow. Husband likes the Original Drumstick. 80-year-old mother likes Dibs (so she doesn’t have to bite into anything–she just pops the whole thing in her mouth). All four of my kids would eat any (and all) of the Nestle’ ice cream novelties. and, we need a freezer!

My family eats ice cream treats pretty regularly–we don’t just serve during the summer or on a special occasion. My mother is the one who introduced the rest of my family to Dibs; and, of course, I remember Drumsticks from my youth. Sweet memories :)

There is only me and I love the drumsticks. When my great grand girls come they always go to the freezer (on top of my refrieger, need a bigger one) for a treat. I keep the Dibbs for them. My grandson comes in and checks one me but I sometimes wonder if its not the drumsticks and soda’s I keep. All my family know I keep the treats for them. Thanks for the entry.
