Introducing the Chili’s $9.99 FRESH PAIRINGS
Going out to eat with your family doesn’t have to break the bank. With the $9.99 Fresh Pairings menu at Chili’s, you can choose an appetizer and entree for you guessed it, 9 dollars and 99 cents. The Fresh Pairings menu includes 6 great appetizers, 13 entrees and new fresh dishes like the Asian Salad and mini tacos with all the fixin’s.
Our Chili’s Experience
Before my husband and I had children, we spent a lot of time in restaurants, and I mean several times a week. As our family grew, we spent more time cooking at home to save money and the headaches that come with dining with kids in public. But thanks to Chili’s, we were treated to lunch with two of our three kids to sample the new Fresh Pairings menu. I have to admit, it was REALLY nice to get out and enjoy a meal that someone else cooked. It helped even more that the food was reasonably priced and tasted great too.
Being the creature of habit that I am, I opted to go with my old favorite, a cup of chili and the delicious strawberry lemonade followed by the sizzling chicken Fajita for lunch.
My husband chose from the Fresh Pairings menu and started off his lunch with the Texas Cheese Fries. A generous helping of fresh cut fries, smothered in cheese and topped with jalapeños and applewood smoked bacon and a jalapeno-ranch dressing on the side.
Next up came the Mini Tacos that came in a set of 4 filled with seasoned ground beef, chicken and a variety of toppings all served with black beans and rice. While my husband loved the authentic tortillas, he was a bit disappointed that the ground beef wasn’t seasoned as much as he would have liked. He’d really like to see Chilis kick the flavor up a notch.
Overall, it was yet another great experience at Chili’s. For $55 including tip, we filled up on two appetizers, two adult meals, 2 regular drinks, 1 adult beverage and 2 kid’s meals. The best part? I didn’t have to cook ANY of it and the food tasted great!

I’d try the Crispy Onion String & Jalapeño Stack and the Half Rack of Shiner Bock Ribs. There are so many things I want to try….it was hard to narrow it down!
Oh those Texas cheese fries look good! I usually get the Onion Strings & Asian salad or the pulled pork sandwich but I might be bad and try those fries next time!

I got married on Tuesday. We went to Chili’s for dinner. I had the FABULOUS chips and salsa with the Caribbean salad. This was on the $9.99 Fresh pairings menu! We also had a great margarita. We loved the salad with its fresh pineapple and cilantro lime dressing. I would recomend this to everybody!

I’d have to choose the Southwestern Eggrolls because those are my all-time favorites at Chilis. The avocado dipping sauce that comes with it, is just delectable. For my entree, I’d choose the Crispy Chicken Crispers, but get them dipped in the blooming onion batter. DELICIOUS!! I haven’t been to chilis for a while so this gift card would definitely go to good use, if I won. :)

I love the chips & salsa so I always get that for an appetizer but those Texas Cheese fries look really good so I might try those next time. For my entree I would try the Mini Tacos.
