We’re halfway through January and at the top of many people’s resolutions was weight loss and fitness. While I didn’t personally make this resolution, I have gotten back into the routine of tracking my activity with the FitBit One and I’m striving to make healthier food choices. It took me several months to lose 30 pounds and only a couple of winter holidays to gain over half of them back. So now I’m back in the game and ready to knock those pounds off for summer.
Cravebox, a monthly product sampling delivery service, offered up a box designed to help with resolutions. Whether it’s to eat better or lose weight, this box came with a little something for everyone.
MARY KAY TIMEWISE REPAIR EYE CREAM
It has been a long time since I’ve purchased Mary Kay products but the ones I did use were always top notch. In the new year, some resolutions can include feeling better and looking better. This is a product for that. It’s designed to help with deep lines, wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles around the eyes. What I really like about it is the applicator tip. It comes with a smooth metal applicator built into the tube so you can apply the cream around your eyes without getting her fingers messy. I’ve been putting it on before bed at night and have noticed my dark circles aren’t as prominent. But at $40 a tube, I’m not sure I could afford to keep a product like this in my cabinet.
METABOBALANCE TEA SAMPLE
While I do love Celestial Seasoning’s teas, I’m not fond of this particular Metabobalance tea. It’s a green herbal tea that kinda tastes like fresh cut grass. There is a mix of tropical grapefruit flavored added but it doesn’t quite cover up the overwhelming herbal flavor.
SUNRYPE FRUITSOURCE BAR
I got three of the strawberry bars and they are absolutely delicious. It’s like eat straight strawberries from the carton except squished into the shape of a bar. The best part is there’s 2 servings of fruit in every bar and made with real fruit.
7-UP TEN® and A&W TEN®
Soda is a huge problem for me when it comes to losing weight. However, I’m not sure that replacing a regular soda with the TEN variety from 7-Up and A&W is much help either. They both have a strange after-taste that I just can’t enjoy. Now if you already drink diet soda, you’ll probably like this 10 calorie version.
This was my second box from CraveBox that I really enjoyed. The is one of the few monthly delivery services that lets you choose the type of box that fits your lifestyle. With each box only costing $10 – $15 and actually being worth far more than that, I think it’s a fun investment if you like to try new products. If you decide to join, visit CraveBox online and enter my username catdavis into your profile. I’d love to be your referral!
