Do you remember a time when you could look in the sky and imagine the clouds turning into fun shapes and characters? Everyday I’m reminded of the imaginations my children possess when they point out a “pig” in the clouds. For children, life is all about mystery, discovery and fun. And sometimes, it can be for parents too.

When it’s a rainy day or too hot to play outside, we pop in a DVD to keep the kids entertained. I like to play a mix of their favorite characters and movies with an educational aspect. One of our newest favorites in Dino Dan Tracks & Ready? Set? Dino!

Redbox kiosks offer this great video at a reasonable price for families to rent and enjoy for hours. Dino Dan is all about a little boy (Dan) whose imagination is so powerful it lets him see dinosaurs. The real fun isn’t just seeing the dinosaurs themselves but the really cool facts kids can learn throughout the movie. You’ll have to rent it to discover which dinosaur is faster in a race - T-rex or Spinosaurus.

My favorite thing about the Dino Dan movies is the fact that it’s one all of my kids love, no matter the age. The toddlers love the visually exciting dinosaurs while my older pre-teen son is really interested in the dinosaur facts.
