Celebration Cheddar-Sausage Balls Recipe

It could be New Year’s Eve or maybe Superbowl Sunday, whatever the celebration my favorite appetizer to throw together in a pinch are sausage balls…but not just any sausage balls, warm and loaded with cheddar sausage balls! These are easy to make with a few ingredients and easy on the budget as well.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1 lb Bob Evans Original Pork Sausage
  • 1 lb Bob Evans Zesty Sausage
  • 1 Cup Bisquick Mix
  • 3 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk

Let’s Get Cooking

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a jelly roll pan, or any cookie sheet with edges at least 1/4 inch deep
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine bisquick, milk, and sour cream.
  3. Add sausage and cheeses, blend well.
  4. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on cooking sheet 1/2 inch apart.
  5. Bake 30 minutes

      If you have a toaster-oven that would work too for smaller batches. I’ve never tried frying them on a stove, but that might work too.
