In an experiment to try the lighter side of chicken nuggets we used Progresso’s panko, a flaky bread crumb which adds a light crispiness to your food. The end result, crispy chicken nuggets without all of the added weight of traditional bread crumbs.

We use Panko breadcrums for chicken fairly often in our house. It’s so yum! We usually add some shredded parmesan and a (teeny) dash of cayenne pepper, too.

Panko is my favorite. It makes everything taste awesome. I love it on chicken amd porkchops. YUMMY! I have never used it to bake with, I always use it when I am frying but baking is so much healthier. As soon as my oven gets fixed I will have to use it for baking. Thanks for the idea.
