Last month when we had Emma’s birthday party featuring Rapunzel I was looking to make a quick party punch to share with my family. Of course Miss Emma wanted something pink so I tossed some ideas around, gave hubby a short grocery list and we whipped up a punch that everyone loved. It’s simple, sweet and perfect for any gathering or pink themed birthday party. It also happens to look pretty darn gorgeous in a nice glass punch bowl.

The kids love the frothy top almost as much as the icy bottom and then of course making sour faces when they suck on the lemons.

  1. This looks so fun, love the color!!

    • They are kinda fun to make and yes, the color is so vibrant. The kids love that.

    • Amanda says:

Do you know how to make a blue one for a baby boy shower?

      • I have made something similar with just the sprite and LIME sherbet. Green would be fine for a baby boy shower. It’s soooooo delicious too!

      • ashley says:

Blue koolaid or Blue Hawaiian Punch with Vanilla ice cream scooped on top. Looks like clouds.
place rubber duckies on top for extra cuteness.

  2. Mmm this looks so good!! Plus I love Lemonade! I think I’ll make this for the triplet’s birthday that is in June. Would be a great hit I bet!

    • Oh this would be great for a birthday party but you might want to triple the recipe, this was more popular than the cake.

      • Maybe x10 the recipe. Cause we have a big family… and with 3 girls… they have a lot of friends! Haha. Maybe I’ll just tell my aunt to make it hahaha.

      • I’d love to make this for my daughter’s first birthday party. It looks so wonderful. Do you think it would turn out just as nice if I tripled the recipe and made it in a punch bowl?

  3. I cannot believe you only got three or four comments on this wonderful recipe and close to 500 views. People can’t take a second to say great job, thanks for sharing, HI – boo – nothing???? Sheesh I’ll never understand people as long as I live. I love your recipe. It really looks good thanks for taking the time, and sharing with us.

  4. Ohhhh so pretty. I am planning to do pink lemonade for K’s party later this month, perhaps I should jazz it up! What brand pink lemonade did you use? I ask b/c I can’t find pink lemonade concentrat

    • Jen I use the frozen Minute Maid pink lemonade. If you can’t find the pink just add some pink/red food color or whatever color the party theme is. I bet an orange juice with orange sherbet would be good too!

  5. Love to load up on Vitamin C using this drink…The color is really mesmerizing…Pretty!

  6. Michelle says:

Looks great! Definitely on my bucket list of foods to try!

  7. I love this and am going to make this for Zoe’s 5th party this year!

  8. Looks yummy. I need to come to one of your parties!

  9. That looks so pretty!

  10. Looks great……I must try it for my daughter’s birthday party coming up, thanks for sharing.

  11. Could you put alcohol in this?

    • Tori – I don’t see why not. I don’t drink so I wouldn’t know how much alcohol to add but I would just say subtract however much Sprite for how much alcohol you add.

  12. Charlie Quinn says:

Making this for my daughters Baby Shower….thank you!!

  13. Love this! Do you happen to know how many this makes for…I am looking to make it for about 45 people.

    Thanks!

    Abby

Thank you so much for this recipe! I had it at a shower this weekend and I forgot to ask for the recipe. I can’t wait to make it for my cousin’s bridal shower. One regular and one with a little bacardi limon :)

  22. I am having a Hole-In-One themed first birthday for my daughter, with pink and green as colors. Do you think I can substitute lime for the lemon or just add the lime in addition to the lemon?! Thought this would be super cute to match the parties colors!

  23. I love the color and it looks so refreshing. You say “One carton of Sherbert” the one I buy here is by a company called Blue Bunny and it’s 1.75 Quart. I wonder if this is the correct size. Thank you very much for sharing. It’s very beautiful!

    • Angela, really any size will do. You can add as little or as much sherbet to the pitcher as you’d like. The one I bought was a half gallon size and we’d had plenty left over.

  24. Kelly says:

    Looks yummy!

  25. Tasha says:

This looks amazing!! I plan to make it this weekend for a PINK baby shower. I am sure it will be a hit!! Thanks for sharing!

  26. Tiffany says:

    How many does this serve?

  27. Bella says:

I like to add frozen raspberries or strawberries instead of ice so it doesn’t water down. It might be interesting to add strawberry soda instead of sprite.
My favorite drink when I was a little kid on Switzerland was raspberry soda with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can make your own raspberry soda by mixing flavored syrups with soda water. :)

  28. I am trying this tomorrow at my little girls birthday party!!! I hope mine turns out as good as your pic looks!

  29. Kim S says:

I am going to make this for my Best Friends baby shower that is coming up! I am so excited! My sister had one similiar to this at her baby shower a few yrs ago.

I had never thought about using Pink Lemonade before. We make something similar to this. We use Fruit Punch, Sprite and Rainbow Sherbet. It is also a wonderful party punch.

  33. Rachel Rutherford says:

Oh this would be awesome for my pink themed bridal shower!

  34. I love this! Thanks for sharing. Gonna make it for my daughter’s pink theme birthday spa party. I think I will use strawberries instead of lemons to go with the pink. And just for fun… I’m thinking of placing pink straws with a fluff of pink cotten candy on top. I think a bunch of 6yr olds will love it:)

  35. Crystal says:

Please forgive my question. But when you say cans of water … Is that soda water or something? I can wait to try this!

  36. Yvette says:

My granddaughter is have her 2nd birthday party and her theme is “Minnie Mouse” . This pink color matches perfectly and her toto is the same color THANK YOU
