Spring officially started several days ago but you wouldn’t be able to tell with snow still covering the ground. This was actually the first day that really felt like Spring with temperatures in the upper 50′s and sun shining down on us. We took full advantage of the beautiful weather and spent most of our day racing through the park paths, climbing obstacles and zooming down slides. I might even dare say it was the perfect day.
It’s been five days since they lost their Papa and life really isn’t feeling very normal around here. When we finally got the kids rounded up and back home I thought the girls could use some one-on-one time with me. We pulled out our collection of Piggy Paint – which is about the most adorable nail polish you can find anywhere. Actually we use to be able to only buy it online but now select Walmart stores (and Walmart.com) are carrying the brand.
The girls got their soggy feet cleaned up and start picking through the vibrant Piggy Paint shades. If you have daughters you know it’s impossible for them to just pick one. So I found myself popping the top off every bottle so each toenail got a different color.
With colors like Dragon Tears, Pinkie Promise and Drama, there’s no choosing just one color. Emma mixed it up with 5 different shades and as you can see, mommy has absolutely no talent for painting piggies. Fortunately, I’m not worried about the polish getting on her skin. Piggy Paint is non-toxic, hypoallergenic and made with a water based formula.
And since these little girls lack patience when it comes to dry time we learned you can use a hair dryer on the low setting to set the nail polish in about one minute which is about the equivalent of singing the ABC’s song twice. To learn more about this kid-friendly nail polish you can visit Piggy Paint online and you can receive a 15% discount on PiggyPaint.com. To take advantage of this discount enter the promo code “PiggyFun” at checkout. This offer expires April 30th 2013.
One lucky reader will win a Piggy Paint “Toe-tally Fancy” pink/purple nail polish set.
