We are fairly new dog owners. My husband and I grew up with dogs, but this is our first dog as the Gould family. Our dog is a Retriever/Newfoundland mix. His name is Padfoot (yes, all you Harry Potter fans, it’s after Sirius in the HP movies, thanks to our children!) Padfoot is not as huge as a purebred Newfoundland but he’s a decent size for an 18 month old puppy. He eats a lot because 1. he’s a large breed dog and 2. he is still just a puppy. He won’t stop growing until he’s three years old. So perhaps we should just call him Sir Eats A Lot!? We try to feed him as much of a raw diet as possible but for training purposes we do give him dog treats for good behavior and compliance. It really works too! And of course, he loves the treats!
Recently, we tried some of Purina® Beggin’ Strips® and Padfoot loved them! To be honest it was hard to tell which flavor he liked the best because he just seemed to gobble them all down so fast.
The first Purina® Beggin’ Strips® we gave him was the Beggin’ Strips® Bacon Flavor. He is waiting patiently. See he knows how to sit, especially for a bacon flavor treat!
Next we gave him Beggin’ Strips® Bacon and Cheese Flavors. Just look at him go…
Lastly, Padfoot tried the Beggin’ Strips® Bacon and Peanut Butter Flavors Natural & Artificial. He almost seems very possessive here, doesn’t he?
What do you think? Can you tell which was his favorite?
We participated in the Nom-Nom-Nominate and voted for the three flavors mentioned above as Padfoot’s favorites. You, too, can give your dog a voice and Nom-Nom-Nominate their favorite Beggin’ Strips®! Simply go to the Purina® page and nominate your dog’s 3 favorites now! The top 3 varieties may be featured in a combo pack available at Sam’s Club in March, 2014.
So…in what ways does your dog show you they LOVE Beggin’ Strips®?!
