Overcoming the Dinnertime Blues

Growing up, my mom and/or dad cooked every single day of the week, weekends too. We had the kind of sit down, homestyle meal that most kids would never appreciate and most adults would crave. I’m talking about open faced roast beef, chicken noodles from scratch, stuffed cabbage rolls, creamy mashed potatoes, bubbling cheesy lasagna, meatloaf with gravy, roasted chicken, fried chicken, all meals that felt like home.

Unfortunately, that list of different meals every night stopped around the two week mark and would repeat, and repeat, and repeat again. Sometimes your taste buds just crave something new and different.
