A few weeks ago we started planning our first Spring party of the year, celebrating gardening season. I had high hopes of getting a little help with planting our raised bed garden from friends and family while celebrating Spring with a table full of goodies for the guests and of course lots of food. Unfortunately, Mother Nature was not going to cooperate. With the date set we hoped the weather would remain dry so we could till the garden but we got dumped on with enough rain to keep it completely soaked. However, the sun did shine nice and bright for our Saturday party.
Even though we weren’t able to do any planting, we did have an amazing time eating, laughing, snapping pictures and sharing great products with friends. Thanks to Snapfish (by HP) we were able to incorporate some printable decorations including: banners and cup wrappers.
On the garden buffet table we pulled together some fresh ingredients with veggies cups, dips, fruit salad and frozen blue raspberry lemonade. The party printables are an easy way to jazz up ordinary paper cups too! Sticking with the theme we even included a little pot of seed packets to include in the gift bags.
After we finished up dinner which included crock pot meatballs, bbq baked beans and bruschetta chicken, we pulled out the amazing assortment of cupcakes from Sweet Street Bakery (huge thanks to Snapfish). I’ll dish out more on those amazing cupcakes next week.
As part of our party we got the opportunity to share some pretty awesome products that I created on the Snapfish website and had them delivered a week or so later. One of the favorites was the Recycled Paper Notepad with magnet. I picked a sweet floral design and added a picture of my daughter to the corner. These are great for sticking to the fridge and using as a shopping list. The photo desk organizer also doubles as a holder for forks, knives and spoons when not being used for pens and pencils.
Everyone was really impressed with print quality on all of the products but especially the notebook where everyone filled in at least one of their own personal recipes.
Between the food and product sampling we also enjoyed a few goofy moments with some of the party favors.
The best part — all of our guests went home with gift bags full of Snapfish goodies including gift cards for 50 free photo prints. And guess what?
I have some for you too!
We have 3 cards left over and I want to share them. So just leave a comment below telling me your thoughts on the party, the products or even the food. I’ll randomly send three of you an email with the unique activation code for your 50 free prints on Friday, May 11th.
Disclosure – This is a compensated party provided by Snapfish by HP that includes monetary compensation and products. However, as always I only choose to work with companies professionally that I would recommend personally.
