When temperatures drop in Illinois they really drop. This past week it has been below 30 degrees F, sometimes with a wind chill much lower. Along with the cold temperatures comes a season of rough and dry skin for me. Head to toe I get covered in dry, flaky skin that feels just awful. Since I’m not fond of lotions that often leave my skin feeling greasy, I focus my efforts on body washes that provide the moisture my skin needs to stay soft.
We’ve always used Dove body wash products especially for our daughters that have issues with eczema. The Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash with NutriumMoisture® is the one product that leaves their skin feeling soft and less irritated.
On the other hand, I prefer to use the Deep Moisture Body Wash with NutriumMoisture®. It’s a creamy formula that feels rich enough to be a lotion but washes off leaving behind smooth and clean skin. It was recently reformulated to include Glycinate, an ultra mild ingredient primarily used in high-end facial care products.
In addition to the Deep Moisture formula you’ll also find a variety of scents including: Dove goFresh Cool Moisture (cucumber and green tea), Dove gofresh Rebalance (plum and sakura blossom), Dove gofresh Revive (pomegranate and lemon verbana) and many others. You can check out the full product line by visiting Dove online.
The Deep Moisture formula is probably the creamiest body wash product I’ve ever used. When you first squirt it out of the bottle it looks and feels more like a lotion but actually produces a nice, gentle lather. I also feel like a little goes a long way.
