Every morning the first thing that pops out of my daughter’s mouth is, mommy what’s for breakfast?
It’s a phrase I’m quite honestly tired of hearing. After weeks of cereal, granola bars, scrambled eggs, french toast and all of the other breakfast foods I whip up, I was quite relieved to add something new to our breakfast lineup.
Sam’s Club is now carrying a new breakfast product (in a big box) that’s perfect for kids (and parents on a low-calorie diet without much of an appetite in the morning).
Inside my freezer you’ll find the new Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls.
Even though I’ve been phasing out microwavable meals in my house, the box makes these look pretty appetizing. Too appetizing to resist! You get a peek at all the yummy bacon, egg and cheese hidden in the center of the bread bowl.
One thing I absolutely love about this product is the fact that they put the cooking instructions on the individual packages. I like to save space in my freezer by taking products out of their boxes and I often lose the directions with the packaging. That won’t happen with this little frozen breakfast bowls.
You get a two-pack of bowls that’s perfect for one adult or split between two small children.
Four breakfast bowls can be microwaved in less than four minutes and come out piping hot. On the outside you’ve got this chewy warm bread wrapped around a bacon, egg and cheese filling. At first I was worried the filling would make the bread soggy but it surprisingly wasn’t.
Inside you’ve got that warm filling that’s got a great flavor and an abundance of bacon. Personally, I think there was a bit too much bacon and a need for more scrambled egg but that’s just a personal preference.
My kids has zero complaints. Each little breakfast bowl is perfectly sized for little hands and is great for on-the-go. If I could get my son to eat meat I’d toss him one of these in the morning to take to the bus stop with him.
You can find the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls in many Sam’s Club freezer sections across the country including locally here in Springfield IL. I was just in there last week and saw them hiding on the bottom shelf near the other frozen breakfast foods. Visit www.TysonBreakfastBowls.com online to see if your local Sam’s Club carries them! You can also connect with Tyson on twitter at @TysonFoods or on the Club Tyson Facebook page.
