There isn’t a day that goes by where someone doesn’t ask the dreaded question … what’s for lunch?
I say dreaded because lunch isn’t a meal we typically plan out in advance so we’re left scrambling for ideas while our tummies grumble.
I’m always look for fresh meal ideas that don’t involve leftovers, microwaved hot dogs or the same old frozen tv dinner. When I visited the Make It Your Michelina’s website I found everything I was looking for to make lunch delicious again!
Michelina’s offers many different frozen meal options but they also offer some ways to make them new and different. I looked at some of the recipe ideas and found my top three that I want to try.
First up is a a kid-friendly lunch that I would love to make with my youngest daughter who is home with me for lunch every day. Heat up the Michelina’s Macaroni and Cheese and give it a tasty grill-inspired kick with chopped hot dogs. These Franks ‘n’ Cheese are loved by kids and adults alike.
For a more grown up lunch, the Lettuce Wraps are a perfect combo with Asian-inspired Michelina’s Chicken Fried Rice dish. Just add your own lettuce and soy sauce for a fresh 10 minute lunch.
Stuffed Peppers are a dish I typically make for dinner because it’s so time consuming. But Michelina’s has found a way to make this dish in minutes with a unique flavor twist. When you add the Sweet and Sour Chicken with Rice dish to your own bell peppers, you can have a 20 minue lunch that looks and tastes like it took hours.
