It’s no secret that I’m a total cat lady. We have three furry and lovable kitties roaming around our house.

There’s Fat Cat, the slightly overweight, lazy one …

There’s Grey Baby, the shy one that only comes out after the kids go to bed …

And then there’s Miss Muffy, the sweet one that loves to purr, cuddle and snorts like a pig if you rub her nose …

These cats are all very different in so many ways but there’s one thing they have in common … the litter box. Whether you have one cat or ten, there’s no avoiding having a litter box that requires the dreaded chore of scooping. The only thing worse than scooping a litter box is emptying and refilling one. That’s an even bigger chore for me because we have two giant litter boxes which are about the size of four regular ones put together. Why do I mention this?

Well, the thing about litter is that it’s HEAVY! Every two weeks I have to lug in two 20 pound jugs of litter. It’s not a fun or easy chore but it has to be done. Fortunately, there’s a brand new alternative that is designed to perform as well as traditional litter and make the chore a little easier. New Tidy Cats® Lightweight 24/7 Performance® Litter is now available at Walmart!

Tidy Cats® Lightweight 24/7 Performance® Litter is 50% lighter than the leading scooping litter. All the strength & half the weight.™ I plan on trying it next month after our current litter runs out. I picked up a jug in Walmart last weekend and I was shocked at how light it is in comparison. Now I can’t wait to see how it compares.

Check out the surprising reactions from Walmart customers when they compare the Tidy Cats® Lightweight 24/7 Performance® Litter to traditional cat litter.

Have you tried the Tidy Cats® Lightweight 24/7 Performance® Litter yet?

  1. Barbara Montag says:

Fat Cat looks just like our Lucy – she’s overweight also.
I’m going to try the light weight litter soon.
    Thanks for the post.

  2. Okay, I’ve never had a cat before. I have friends with cats that I love, but I’ve just always been a dog person, but your cats are just adorable, especially Ms. Muffy! My son just saw the pics and asked if he could have a cat just like her, too. :)
