Having three kids with three sets of likes and dislikes when it comes to food can be quite a challenge, especially when I’m trying to fill them all with nutritional foods. One thing most of the kids can agree on is chicken nuggets. I often keep a box of Tyson Chicken Breast Nuggets in the freezer on the occasions when they’re being difficult, especially at lunch time. Just this past weekend the kids were begging for chicken nuggets and fries but I had plans of my own. Chicken Nugget Tacos!
They sound a little odd but they’re a huge hit with the kids. They get their favorite chicken nuggets and I get to sneak in healthy vegetables like lettuce and tomatoes. You could even beef up the health factor by using whole grain tortillas.
Get a Smile, Give a Smile
From now until March 31st, you can enter a fun contest where all you need to do is upload your child’s “Happy Nugget Face” with a caption that best captures their love of Nuggets. Every kid that participates will have their picture featured on our virtual online ‘Wall of Smiles’. PLUS, 50 kids will be selected to have their picture featured in a special Tyson magazine ad spread in both People Magazine and Parents Magazine, as well as on a Times Square billboard. They will also be featured on other out-of-home vehicles of communication, such as mall window signs.
Want to give a smile to kids in need? Throughout the promotional period, for every package of Tyson Chicken Nuggets bought, Tyson products will be donated to local food banks – up to Four MILLION meals! In support of Tyson’s corporate ‘KNOW Hunger’ initiative, the transforming ‘frowns to smiles’ power of their Nuggets will help stamp out children’s hunger across the country.
Thanks to Tyson’s 100% All Natural Chicken Nuggets, now you don’t have to choose between making your kids happy and feeding them balanced meals.
But I’m curious, how do you ensure your child maintains a balanced diet? Join the conversation and Tyson will select a winner and donate $500 in the winner’s name to a local food bank!
