Just Say No to Jugs | Method Laundry Detergent #CleanHappy

I’ve got some good news and bad news.

The bad news … May is National Laundry Month. Ick, I know. Laundry is probably my least favorite chore (next to cleaning toilets). The pouring, the stuffing, the moving, the waiting, the folding and hanging, it’s all a drag. However, the good news is Method is making your everyday laundry chore a little bit easier with the “Say No to Jugs” campaign. You can lighten your load by ditching the heavy, messy laundry detergent jugs and replacing them with these sweet little bottles from Method.

My daughter thinks the bottles are “in love” with each other but the truth is, I’m the one in love.

Method Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener takes up far less space than my old jugs and the pump action is just as fun as it is functional.

The best part (for me) of using Method laundry detergent is being able to get my youngest children in the game of doing laundry (which they love). There’s no jugs, no spills and with the pump dispenser, all they have to do is give a lil’ squirt. As seen on the label below, Method laundry detergent is highly concentrated, safe for HE washers and only needs 4 little squirts for an entire load of laundry. Even better … Method Laundry products are powered by plant-based technology using 95% natural and renewable ingredients, this amazingly ultra-concentrated (8x), biodegradable formula reduces the average laundry detergent lifecycle carbon footprint by 35%.

Facebook Photo Contest  – Chore No More

On May 1st, Method launched a photo contest on Facebook for the entire month. One lucky person will win a year’s supply of Method detergent and 25 people will win laundry starter kits (two 8-load bottles). All you have to do is submit a photo that documents what makes doing laundry a chore – such as using heavy jugs that are prone to spilling. The top 26 with the most votes from the community will win. So be sure to snap a pic, enter and vote for your favorites.

Every Thursday for the month of May, there will be a $2.00 off coupon for Method Laundry Detergent on the Method Facebook perks tab. The coupon will only be available to print on Thursdays. Special Note for Canadian residents: Instead of printing the physical coupon, you will be able to get $2 off Method products available at http://well.ca using the discount code “WASHME“.

Enter in the form below to win 1 of 10 Method Laundry Detergent 8 Loads Starter Bottles.

What do I love about laundry? That the clothes get clean. What do I hate about it? Folding it, hanging it and putting it away. (Which is why we have baskets full of clean clothes at my house, lol.)

  2. says

I have always really liked doing laundry. I like sorting it, putting it into the washer and dryer, and folding laundry has always put me at ease. I do, however, really dislike putting clothes away.

  3. Kathleen says

I hate folding them and putting the clothing away afterwards

    kport207 at gmail dot com

  4. Kim Henrichs says

I actually love doing laundry. I always have. I don’t know if it’s because in a matter of a couple of hours you can see results, or the smell of the dryer sheets. ;)

  5. Mary Beth Elderton says

I just don’t like the whole hassle of laundry–the gathering and sorting, the messy, heavy bottles, the folding, the putting away. But…I’ve learned through experience that leaving the laundry and hoping the Laundry Elves will take care of it doesn’t really work :)

  6. Julie Lynn Bickham says

The only thing I hate is that I have to carry the heavy baskets down to the basement, it kills my back.

  7. says

I hate the putting away the kids clothes. The washing and folding are fine … it is the putting away!

  8. D C says

I also really dislike the folding, hanging, and putting it all away parts of doing the laundry!

  9. NJJ says

I love the smell of fresh clean laundry also I’m grateful to have access to washer and dryer Compared to some countries especially those with untreated water I’m glad I have a chance to wear clean clothes that machine washed :)

  10. Lyn says

My problem has always been the design of houses. 95% of the laundry comes from the bedroom area, yet most houses have the laundry room clear at the opposite end of the house or 3 floors down. You have to drag the laundry basket there and back. Wouldn’t it be easier to put the laundry room closer to where the dirty clothes come from?

  11. sarah says

I don’t mind washing, drying and folding laundry, but I really hate putting it away.

  12. Mary says

I’ve always wanted to try Method but didn’t want to while I was using a laundromat (the machines have residue from other detergents from ALL the other customers) but now that I just moved into a new place – it’s the PERFECT excuse to FINALLY try Method detergent/softener!

  13. Traci says

I hate how messy the liquid jugs get after a bit with detergent all over the outside.

  14. Heather Way says

What I love about laundry is that I do it several hours each day! The laundry room is my second home!

  29. Vicki Wurgler says

I do not mind washing clothes it’s the folding, hanging and putting away I do not like

  30. Dara Nix says

My washer is in a small room off of my back porch – which means that I have to drag the laundry and the detergent outside to put it in the washer and then tote it all back inside to put it in the dryer! This is even LESS fun when it is raining!

  31. jennifer bowen says

i realy dislike the stanes and the fact that some time thay just dont come out when doing the wash
