The title pretty much sums it up … I’m not ready to look 30. After just turning 29 last month, I’ve taken a deeper look into my skin care regimen that started with an acne wash years ago and well, I never really got out of the “teenage” skin routine. While the acne subsided I never thought much about my skin aging until recently. While smiling in front of a mirror I’ve begun to notice “crow’s feet” around the corner’s of my eyes and brown sun spots on my cheek bones, both signs of my skin aging and lack of care in the past 10 years or so.

If an effort to prevent and preserve my skin, I’ll be spending the next few weeks trying out a new line of skin care products endorsed by Cindy Crawford called Meaningful Beauty. At first glance, the kit of products is pretty overwhelming, especially for someone like me that has always used a single product. Inside the box you’ll find a daily routine sheet that explains which products to use in the morning and again in the evening all broken down into 3 steps. It sounds simple enough but those 3 steps can involve up to 6 products.

Inside the box I found 7 different skin care products that included: Skin Softening Cleanser, Creme de Serum, Antioxidant Day Creme SPF 20, Lifting Eye Creme Advanced Formula, Skin Brightening Neck Treatment SPF 15 and two smaller bonus items including: Glowing Serum and Glycolic Treatment Pads. When you visit the Meaningful Beauty website there are different starter kit options that range from $39.95 to $139.95 (30 – 90 day supplies). I’m not sure how this compares in price to other skin treatment kits but I don’t feel the price point of $40 per month is beyond what I’m willing to spend.

Just before starting my Meaningful Beauty regimen I snapped a quick “before” picture and hope to have some comparison results for you in about 4 weeks. Having used it for 2 days now I can say my initial feelings are pretty positive. While I’m not use to or even fond of so many steps, the products themselves are very comfortable on my skin. The scents are neutral and pleasant and haven’t caused any irritation.

This time next month I’ll share my final results and individual product thoughts with you. Until then, you can learn more about the Meaningful Beauty product line online at www.meaningfulbeauty.com

I’d love to know what anti-aging skin care products you currently use or if you’ve tried Meaningful Beauty yourself?

I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf Meaningful Beauty and received a 5-step treatment kit to facilitate my review, a second 5-step treatment kit to giveaway, and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

  1. I am doing this test drive either…and I am very hopeful. I am loving it so far! By the way, your eyes are so pretty!

  2. I am loving this as I am part of it as well. Even though I’m only 31 there are sure signs of aging and I’m not ready for that. I’ve already told hubby I will be spending the money for this after this campaign, I am in love:)

    • Right now the one product I know for sure I’ll continue to use is the creme de serum, that stuff makes my face feel so soft!

      • Oh yeah it’s amazing! I like the treatment pads as well. My face looks brand new after using them although they burn a bit.

  3. ill be watching to find out how this goes!

  4. I’m testing this kit out as well! Day 3 and I am loving the way my skin feels already. I can’t wait to see if it makes a difference with my crow’s feet and sun spots!
