Meet The Reusable Paper Towel Company

Lynn Wieland, the momprenuer behind the Reusable Paper Towel Company, new and upcoming business. The Reusable Paper Towel company offers you a way to save money and the environment at the same time with hand made, cloth “paper towels” that can be washed and reused.

Our Experience

Anytime we make a significant change to our daily living habits there is most definitely an adjustment period. Take cloth grocery bags for instance. Here it is a year later and we have to constantly remind ourselves to bring them into the store with us. But for the reusable paper towels, taking a step towards green living was a change that was incredibly easy. To make the transition easier, The Reusable Towel company offers a Towel Dispenser that is neatly package with reusable paper towels.

reusable paper towelsEach reusable paper towel is made from birdseye diaper cloth, individually serged, and approx 8.5 X 11 in size. Of course because each cloth is mom made, the sizing and shape my vary just slightly.

When compared to the Viva Paper Towels we have always used in the past, the size is very comparable.

disposable vs reusable paper towels

The reusable paper towel dispenser is perfect for hanging in out of site cleaning cabinets or right on the wall. The cloth pattern options make it a beautiful product that can easily blend into your kitchen decor.

My favorite part of using reusable paper towels is how multifunctional they are. Unlike paper towels, the cloth doesn’t shred or need to be thrown away after one use. Take my daughter’s milk spill for example. The cloth easily absorbed the spill, went straight to the sink to be rinsed and was then used to clean the entire surface. After you’re done, you just toss the cloth into the wash.

I’ve already taken about a dozen of these cloths through the washer and love how they come out even softer than when they went in.

While certainly not a major problem, I’m rather use to using square paper towels and even the adjust a size paper towels. I’d love to see optional sizing available for the little messes that don’t require a full size cloth.

Buy It

Reusable Paper Towels are only sold online at and sold in sets of 12, 24 and 36 priced from $11 – $29. Reusable Paper Towel Dispensers are just $5 each and currently available in 6 patterns.

Ohhhh I would love those and so would my husband. And seriously not a bad price either at all! I have ruined too many nice dish towels etc using those instead of normal paper towels.

This is a really great concept. I’d be interested to see how they compare to using dishtowels, or in my case, bar cloths. I tend to save paper towels for our cars and for when we’re sick and I prefer a disposable product.

That sounds like a really cool product but I will admit I am probably not going to use it only because I don’t want to add to my laundry but this may save me money soooo I am going to have think harder about the choice to not use it.

Great review, love the feedback on it.

This is certainly better than what I have done… refuse to buy paper towels & hope I have a cloth on hand when I have a spill.

Wow, I was wondering about these. It’s kind of like having wash cloths, but they are easy to get to and stay more organized.

I love your mom made photo, it shows the quality of the cloth

Thanks for the reminder of other options for paper towels. I have reduced the amount of paper towels we use in our home, but have not completely removed. What I do instead of using multiple towels is use cloth napkins, junk towels, etc. that we already had on hand. I also made the children their own cloth napkins with favorite characters, etc. to use at meal times.

That’s a pretty darn cool product if I do say so myself!! I can definitely see my family using that instead of the numerous paper towels we consume >.<
    Thanks for the review!

I bought these from Lynn a month ago and love them so much I purchased 2 sets for my mom friends. I use them all the time. They absorb well, are easy to launder with my regular dish rags and are softer on my 2 year old daughter’s milk mustache after a meal. The size I find is perfect…actually quite small and I don’t feel guilty reaching for 2 like I did with paper. I highly recommend these!
