With Easter just a week away, now is the time to start planning all of your Easter desserts. It’s always a tradition in our home to spend a weekend before Easter baking our favorites including sugar cookies, pastel Rice Krispies treats and of course dying Easter Eggs. In fact, my mom will be coming over tomorrow to spend the afternoon with me and the kids whipping up some goodies.

If you’re looking for some ideas, these Rice Krispies M&M cups should get you inspired to get in the kitchen with the kids. All you do is make a traditional Rice Krispies Treats recipe, add some food coloring and shape the treats (while still warm) in large muffin tin cups. I use a small bottle to press in the center and create a space to drop in some treats like pastel M&Ms. Of course you’ll want to wait until the treats have cooled before adding chocolate.

Last year the kids and I had a ton of fun making these dipped and decorated Rice Krispies Treats eggs that have a gumball hidden in the center and they’re dipped in candy melts to make them even sweeter. Jumbo plastic eggs are great for molding the perfect Easter egg shape!

I love coconut pie or cake. A fresh, white, coconut cake always makes me think of Easter.

Do Peeps count as an Easter dessert? How about Cadbury mini eggs? I’ll just have candy for dessert. :-)

I’m not much of a baker, when it comes to holidays. But I wait all year to celebrate Easter with a few juicy yummy cabury eggs!

My downfall is white chocolate and especially any easter rabbit made with it!

I am loving those cups but imagine them a little melted inside so they are more like a cupcake- my fav desert at easter is coconut cheesecake

I usually make a Carrot Cake, Lemon Bars, and Fresh Strawberry O’Cheese dessert. However, my favorite (any day) would be Rice Krispies Marshmallow Treats! Thanks for the giveaway.
