Our Experience
Without a doubt, one of the most difficult parts of maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle for me is drinking water. We all need it and it’s essential for our bodies to work properly, but truth be told it’s bland and difficult for me to drink without flavor.
Fortunately, my absolute favorite brand of water has expanded the Fruit20 line of water to include the Fruit20 Essentials. All of these great flavored waters contain natural flavors and zero juice. My personal favorite is the new strawberry-kiwi that has just enough flavor to make it taste great but isn’t overly sweet.
As a personal goal, I’ve been slowly trying to squash my soda habit by replacing the sugar drinks with Fruit20 Essentials in an effort to shed a few extra pounds before the peak season of summer. To help do that, I also received some great tips to maximize my efforts.

NUTRITION – Food is your body’s fuel, if you have to choose regular, premium or super premium fuel for your body, which grade would you choose? Your body thrives on fresh, clean foods and lots of water.

I have been making a concerted effort to drink more water. I have a newborn that I’m nursing and had kidney stones while I was pregnant so hydration is at the top of the priority list.

My first small change is to limit the amount of Coke I drink. I drink WAY too much. So now if I have Coke, I have to match that with some other “better” drink, like water or tea or juice.

We recently started to incorperate flaxseed into our daily meals and taking Vit. D suppliments.

One of the small changes I’ve made this year is to make sure we have healthy snacks around the house. Fruits, veggies, etc. instead of all the refined sugar! We are all feeling alot better because of it!

I’m trying to eat a fruit or veggie with every meal.
I stopped drinking Coke/Pepsi on Jan 1st, 2010 and started drinking more water. I lost 10 lbs the first month cutting out all the soft drinks and as of yesterday I’ve lost 25 lbs the past 3 months. I definitely feel much healthier.
