It is without a doubt football season. My son has been on the field for a few weeks now, I was hoping for an early win with Chief’s kicking the Packer’s butts in week 4 of pre-season games (didn’t happen, ugh) and I’m ready to rumble … in the kitchen. While my son is out tackling the kids on the field, I’m in the kitchen tackling new recipes for the fall season and game day menus.
One of my all time favorite game day recipes is my own creation, the Cheese Ball with Fritos shaped like a football. Inside is a mass of cream cheese, ham, more cheese all wrapped in crispy, crumbled bacon with green onion “strings” and Fritos for dipping.

Crackers, cheddar, sausage and ranch, is there really anything better on game day? Gimme Some Oven shares a pretty creative technique making these football cracker snackers. I’m betting kids and adults alike will love them.
