Among the many exhibitors at the International Home and Housewares Show, by far, the most impressive display was what I like to call the “Wall of KitchenAid”. Sitting 4 rows high and over 15 mixers wide was a display of every color imaginable of KitchenAid mixers. As many of you already know, among my top list of brands that I will forever remain loyal to is KitchenAid.

My stand mixer has been my lifeline in the kitchen for several years, given to me as a Christmas gift from my husband. While white wasn’t my first choice, it was still a gift that I will treasure for years to come. Although I think he had ulterior motives that starts with Peanut Butter and ends with Cookies.

90th Anniversary Model

The true beauty among the many mixers along the wall of KitchenAid was the 90th Anniversary Edition Stand Mixer that is only available in a stunning Candy Apple Red and includes a glass mixing and measuring bowl. Not unlike other available models, this one offers the Power Hub for additional attachments but is set apart by the 90th Anniversary logo.

I would by lying if I said I didn’t wipe a bit of drool from the corner of my mouth when I saw this. The clear mix and measure bowl is a feature I wish was available for all mixers as I can imagine it would make the prep time that much faster and one less measuring cup to dirty up in the process.

Cook for the Cure with KitchenAid

As part of its ongoing Cook for the Cure® initiative, which has raised $7 million for the fight against breast cancer, KitchenAid is offering a selection of pink kitchen essentials that generate donations of up to $50 each to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. These include everything from pink silicone spatulas and mixing bowls to 5-Quart Stand Mixers available in all pink or white with a pink trim band.

I can’t imagine that there’s anything more satisfying in the kitchen than whipping up your favorite cake batter or butter cream frosting and knowing you’re doing it with a product that contributed to the fight against breast cancer.

If a KitchenAid purchase is your near future, I urge you to explore the Cook for the Cure Pink Collection before making any final decisions.

I’m drooling over here!! That display is beyond beautiful.
When I finally do get a mixer- I am going to have a REALLY hard time choosing a color.

  2. I love that wall of KitchenAid! It’s beautiful! I really need to use my KitchenAid more often. I wanted it so badly, got it for Christmas a couple years ago and have never really gotten into the habit of using it. Clearly I need to cook more.

  3. LOL love the pictures! I have to admit I didn’t want a kitchen aid when I first got married but DH did so we got one. Now that I have used it I don’t know what I was thinking back then! It truly is amazing :)

  4. I love the pictures…and it only makes me more jealous. Clearly, those kitchenaid mixers need homes. I’ve got a good home.

  5. Love that mixer~ Mixers have obviously came along ways in color, haven’t they?

  6. Catherine says:

I have been begging my husband for one of those darn things for years!! bu nooooo lol

  7. Love the colors, this is what my daughter asked me to buy her for her 18th birthday ! Pretty cool

  8. I also took a ton of photos from their display. Swoon! You did not capture the best part, or my favorite part, the electric blue one. It’s soooo pretty.

  9. Oh my…I’m drooling over that yellow one! I think maybe it’s time for an upgrade!

  10. Cat,

I hear ya! Life would be pretty hard in my house without one of those. The wall is beautiful. That picture is worthy of hanging on your wall at home, “ooh, ahh!.” My mixer is making some really weird noise now so it may be time to replace it. The only problem is that there are so many really cool colors from which to choose. I may have to check out that special before it ends.

I like that “Cook for the Cure” collection even though pink isn’t my favorite color, but the cause is totally great. Man, that must have been a great show.

  11. *Drool* I have wanted one of these forever, but I don’t think I’m a good enough cook to warrant the purchase. I would want a fire engine red one.
    Kas

  12. I’m with you Cat. I’d die to have any of those fun bright colors. I still use a $10 hand mixer. So sad…

  13. Wow, wow and wow! That’s impressive…thanks for sharing…great pics!

  14. I still have the mixer I received as a shower present in 1974, and would love one of the new retro pink Cook for the Cure colors. Thanks for letting me know about the special. As a baby boomer, I honestly remember when kitchens were that color! That “wall” is beautiful. It would be a great present for Mother’s Day for my daughter too, and I’m sure she’d think of me every time she used it.

  15. I see my mixer up there!! I have the Apple green one : )
    I love Kitchen Aid appliances.

  16. OMG, how awesome! I love my Kitchen Aid stuff. I would love one of those bright yellow mixers. That would just be so cool to see all those.

  17. That is one company that I’m dying to work with. I love their stuff. That wall is very impressive.

  18. That looks amazing!

  19. That’s awesome! Love all those mixers. Kitchenaid is my fave, too and I can’t live without it.

  20. I want one!

    love to you
    K

  21. Brandy says:

Oh man I think I was drooling just reading the post! I would LOVE one but yeah Jeff nearly has an anxiety attack when I mention it ha! Though his weakness is the Peanut butter cookies/Peanut butter blossoms so maybe some more coaxing is all I need ha!

  22. Wow! Everything in their booth is absolutely beautiful! It is making me drool all over my net book.

And it is making me crave home made chocolate chip cookies from scratch right about now.

  23. Oh my! Looking at that wall of stand mixers is *almost* better than sex. I’d kill for one. It’s been on my short list for several years, but something else always seems to come up to get in the way.

  24. OMG my heart just skipped 10 beats looking at the wall of Kitchen Aid. I

  25. Drooling! Love KitchenAid!

  26. as a mom of 6, and an army wife….I do ALOT of cooking. I am actually on my second mixer. Although I would like to have thought that the first would have lasted a lifetime….it did not. I got the classic stand mixer that sadly is made with with plastic parts . This I was unaware until it broke! I was very disappointed, but excitedly invested in a second on that is the pro 5 I belive. This has metal parts. I have high hopes that this one will not last the stand of time….and my 6 children. I use mine almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I also love the shreader that you can get to go with it. That this was the best invention ever! You can shread a whole pound of cheese in like 60 seconds!

    • Oh that’s a bummer, plastic parts are never good for something that is meant for daily work. We’re had our mixer for about 5 years now and it still works as good as the day I bought it, which the except of me bending the beater. Oye!

  27. Nicole-Lynn says:

    wow! what a display!

  28. Nicole-Lynn says:

P.s. I’m sad macy’s is discontinuing the Martha Stewart aqua mixer! :(

  29. I LOVE KitchenAid. Got my first mixer 15 years ago and it still works well. Although I am loving all of the colors. The wall looks great!

  30. This is definitely worthy of some Kitchen Aid love!

  31. Holy Kitchen Aid!!
Look at all those different mixers in all kids of colors ^.^

  32. Nancy says:

That is an amazing picture. I love (and hate) that Kitchenaid has so many awesome colors available.

  33. that display is BEAUTIFUL! lol… didn’t know mixers could be such an impressive work of art. :P

  34. Thanks so much for posting! I am getting my daughter the KitchenAid 6-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer and she wants the red one. I can now get her the 90th anniversary one for her bridal shower in April!

  35. Jennifer h says:

Ooh pretty! :) I love the pink ones for breast cancer too.

  36. Alana says:

What a beautiful rainbow of mixers! Somehow I don’t think my husband would appreciate it the way I do…

  37. WOW so color and so beautiful makes me want to bake a cake. I could only dream of having one of those

  38. Wow!! I’d love just one of those here in my house – any color, I’m not picky!

  39. I adore kitchenAid, it was the best wedding present that we got. I use it all the time, my husband uses it all the time. I just wish I had one with color and not white.

  40. I love their new Anniversary Edition. My favorite thing is the glass bowl. I actually have a KA Artisan in Black. I love it :)

  41. Janel C says:

Oh my goodness!! Look at all those colors! Kitchen Aids really are very visually appealing! :)

  42. Paula Harmon says:

I can’t believe all the colors they come in. How would I ever choose?!?

  43. Gina Walker says:

Definitely! You can never take having a kitchenaid for granted… but those colors are wonderful!!! I have a red one, but that turquoise is calling to me! :) If I could sell on ebay for enough, maybe my husband would let me get a new color! hahah!

  44. I love your disclosure… I feel exactly the same way. I’ve had my KitchenAid mixer for about 6 years and use it all the time, it still looks and acts like new.
That 90th addition mixer is gorgeous… I’d love one of those bowls, too, for all the same reasons you mentioned. I have the bigger bowl lift mixers, however, so they’d have to make it for that mixer. LOVE the color, too… I have the plane white just like you. But you know I wanted the brushed stainless just like you do…. as we talked about on Twitter.
Wish I was there to see all that stuff with you, I’m SO jealous. Glad you had a great time.

  45. Judith says:

i have had a Bosch for almost 20 years and love the versatility. It is similar to the Kitchen Aid. A mixer, a blender, a kneader ( I can knead for whole what bread), a grinder. it is a universal tool.
Kitchen Aid is a good product as far as it goes. before buying one I would research other products.

  46. oooh, I love that 90th anniversary edition! I’m on my second mixer, after upgrading from my first to a more industrial version. I ♥ my KitchenAid stand mixer!

  47. Hi, Im not sure where to write this, but I am a new blogger, and I need people to join!! Please add my blog at: snickersncream.blogspot.com/

  50. Jennifer Kasprzak says:

we absolutely love all of our kitchen aid appliances but our stand mixer is the most cherrished, we all red kitchen aid items
I would be lost without the stand mixer though

  51. Brian says:

    WHOA
I’ve never seen so many KitchenAid products in one room all at once — Crazy

  52. megan says:

A GLASS bowl!? My mom had one with a glass bowl from many decades ago…she always said it was *better*.

There is a place in Greenville, Ohio called the “Kitchenaid Experience.” I think it’s the only one around. They sell refurbs and you can get a pretty good deal. Once a year during Annie Oakley days they have a HUGE sale on a lot of their stuff. :) I might make a trip over and see if this is on sale them!

  53. I love my Kitchenaid. It was a wedding gift, and then my dh got me a set of fancy dancy attachments for it. It can do ANYTHING.

  54. I would have fainted. No Lie. FAINTED!! Nice pics though Cat!

  55. wow look at all those kitchenaids!!! I just got mine for Christmas two years ago(after burning out my mother in laws mixer while trying to make a double batch of frosting.) I could not live without my Kitchenaid now! I made tres leches cake twice this weekend. It calls for meringue and fresh whipped cream frosting. If I had to do that by hand there would be NO way I’d do it!

  56. Oh, I like the red one too :) Oh how I’d love me a new mixer.

  57. eek! i didn’t know they had TEAL!

  58. I’m obsessed with KitchenAid. I’ve oogled & drooled over those mixers for YEARS but I can’t afford one….so I keep on oogling & drooling!

  59. Janine says:

The colors are incredible, but I cant get the one I saw out of my mind. A few years ago in a kitchen specialty shop I saw a KitchenAid that was painted in a tie-dye color pattern. I suppose I should purchased it then because I havent seen it since. :(
