Our Experience

We are no stranger to the Flor system. This past March we added the Seagrass Stripe rug to our living room which has since been redesigned to fit our hallway. Adding a new Flor rug to our home allowed us to experience just how easy it is to reorganize the carpet tiles to create an entirely new rug for any part of our home.

This time we had the opportunity to experience a 5 x 7 ft Flor rug kit from the new Fall 2009 collection. The new, All Bark No Bite in Olive fits perfectly in with our rustic decor. All Bark No Bite has a subtle, slightly raised houndstooth pattern that is perfect for any type of room.

Each Flor rug kit comes complete with carpet tiles, Flor Dots (adhesive squares) and instructions. The beauty of the Flor rug is that with individual tiles not only can you create any sized rug you need, the tiles can transported and rejoined to fit the needs for any room in your home.

Setting up a Flor rug is almost as easy as buying a complete rug in the store. Each square fits snug against the next and is held together by Flor Dots – non-toxic, sticky pads with guide lines to ensure a perfect fit.

Set up took less than 20 minutes for the standard 5 x 7 ft rug which fit perfectly in the middle of our living room floor. Even little Emma took to it right away. The fibers made from Nylon material (and in the USA) are soft enough for even her little crawling knees.

Kicking of the cool weather season, Flor is introducing a brand new collection of styles and colors.

Cobwebs and spiders make for a delightfully ghoulish rug design, perfect for Halloween or any other time you want to add a spooky vibe.
