Hardwood to Carpet Floor Cleaning with the Electrolux Versatility
For me, one of my most dreaded spring cleaning and daily cleaning chores is the vacuuming. It’s a job that can get tedious and time consuming especially if you’re using a vacuum that isn’t providing the tools you need to quickly clean every aspect of your home. To get the job done right, I want to introduce you to a new vacuum cleaner, the Electrolux Versatility.
Electrolux Versatality Feature Overview
The first bagless upright vacuum from Electrolux, Versatility is designed with an innovative handle that quickly releases a telescoping wand system reaching up to 14 feet to make cleaning the tops of windows, bookshelves and stairs effortless. The vacuum automatically switches airflow power to the wand, which can be fitted with the exclusive hand turbo brush tool to provide a deeper cleaning of pet hair, dirt and dust on stairs and upholstery.
Versatility’s hassle-free cleaning is complemented by a three-stage cyclonic suction system that separates most of the dirt from the air before it reaches the filter, so the filter stays clean and the vacuum retains maximum cleaning power. Our Electrolux Vacuum Experience
As far as vacuum cleaners go, I’ve had a lot of experiencing using them, from the very budget friendly to the very expensive. In my opinion, the Electrolux Versatility is priced in the middle but performs as well as leading competitors from the high end.
The initial set up process takes less than 5 minutes after a quick read through the instruction booklet. The Versatility comes packaged almost fully assembled, the only step needed is to attach the cleaning hose and wand by snapping it into place on the main body.
This upright vacuum has a lot of features that really stand out to me, starting with being versatile. We have a home that is about 30% carpet and 70% hardwood/tile floors. With the Electrolux Versatility I can easily go from carpet to hardwood with the touch of a conveniently placed button that turns the sweeping brush off and on.
Even more convenient is the Quick-Release Wand that extends into a 14 foot suction hose with multiple attachments. With the wand, I’ve been able to clean out tight spaces in my car and reach the dust covered air vents on the ceiling.

During the last week, I found a lot of reasons to really enjoy using the Versatility, above all others was baseboard cleaning. The first thing I noticed while vacuuming was the fact that the vacuum easily pulled in dust and debris where the floor meets the wall. Most vacuums I’ve used leave behind a line of dust, but the Versatility picked everything up, right up to the wall.

I love that this The Electrolux Versatility vacuum has a 14ft reach would be perfect for me since my ceilings are vaulted ceilings – 12 feet high! The quick release wand is such a ice feature. I have 2 dogs, so I’m always trying to get the hair that is in the edges of the carpet and corners.

I love the floor to ceiling feature. I have vaulted ceilings and it would be nice to have something to help me reach way up high

Wow I would love to be the winner of a new vacuum that would be good for me and my son. We both have bad allergy’s and the vacuum we own is awful a hand me down from my mother in law. I just found your blog and love it. It is such a joy to be a mother.

With my severe allergies, the HEPA filter would likely be the biggest benefit.

The thing that would help the most would be the versatility – we have tile, carpet, and lineoleum flooring in our house.
I love that the Electrolux has the quick release wand. I’m short and this would keep me from having to get on chairs to clean near my ceiling.

For my family, the HEPA filtraion is an important feature, because we have allergies. I also like that the hose can reach up to 14 feet, so I can clean the ceiling corners and above the window frames.

The feature of Electrolux Versatility vacuum that would help me the most with my Spring cleaning is the HEPA filtration because it captures 99.97% of pet dander, dust mites, pollen and mold for a cleaner home. I checked out the electrolux versatility, and the feature I love most about it that would help me with my Spring cleaning is the quick-release wand because I’m constantly changing from cleaning floors to stairs to floors to high areas like ceilings to grab cobwebs. This will make the transition back and forth very easy! Looks great!

The telescoping wand system that goes up to 14 feet would be a Godsend for me. I don’t know why but spiders love to hide on my ceilings. I also have carpet and wood and am constantly switching between the broom and vacuum . I love Electrolux, I think they have a great reputation for quality items. I like the bagless feature. It’s hard to tell on my current vac when to change the bag and I hate throwing away the bags anyway. I’d rather not have to keep buying bags.
I love the HEPA filtration !! It captures 99.97% of pet dander, dust mites, pollen and mold for a cleaner home.

Well, first of all….it would be a vacuum that WORKS! I’ve purchased 3 vacuums in the last year and all of them have either been useless or have broken within a few months of purchasing. These were all attempts to replace my 1960s hand-me-down Electrolux. *sigh* NOTHING is a replacement for an Electrolux!
But what I love about the Versatility is the bagless feature……soooo easy to use, dispose of the junk, and then keep vacuuming!

HEPA filtration is the feature I’m most excited about. We all have bad allergies and this sounds great for helping to keep the air clean!
The feature that stands out the most is the Bagless Separation System with the Easy-Empty Bottom Dump Cup it sounds like it is a lot simpler and cleaner than my current vacuum. It will make Spring cleaning less of a chore.

The Quick-Release Wand has a unique buckle that when pulled releases the wand and hose system from the vacuum for cleaning up high and down low. That would help me a lot since the one I have now I have to unplug it in 2 places

What about the Electrolux Versatility wouldn’t help me spring clean. I like that it is bagless and easy to empty. Just became a FB fan! This vacuum would be great to help me with my spring cleaning because i have a mix of tile and carpet so going from room to room would be much easier and all the dust won’t be blown all over the place when I’m vacuuming my tile floor. Also, the 14 ft reach would be perfect for me to vacuum way up high – my ceilings are about 12ft and i’m a shorty – only 5’2″! :)

I like that their is no bag. I hated vacumming because I could never find the bags when I got ready to put a new one one and when I did put one on I got dirt and dust everywhere. I usually too it outside on the grass to chance bags. So flustrating. Thanks for the entyr

The feature of this vacuum cleaner that would help me the most with spring cleaning is the HEPA Filtration for our pet hair and pollen problem here. To be quite honest my current vacuum is a piece of crap. Vacuums are one of those things that I can’t bring myself to replace at the prices they want. It is just about on it’s last leg so this would help me this spring simply because it would work :) I am also lost the crevice tool somewhere over the past few years. Key piece when you have 2 boys to clean up after!

This is a great vacum for the enviroment. I also love that it comes with an extra HEPA filter to cut down on maintenance and there are no bags to buy – ever! This will cut down dust in my house and help my family with their alergies. We live in the state of Oklahoma where alergies are a great big problem.
My favorite feature are the Integrated Tools Onboard for floor to ceiling cleaning.

I like the fact that it’s bagless — no messy spillage! And the fact it’s good on wood floors — I have a lot in my home.

I like the easy bottom dump cup that will make disposal super easy. I have an old vacumn with a filter, and disposal is such a hassle-dust everywhere.

I would say my favorite feature would be the super stretch hose! 14 feet is a good bit of area to use the hose on, which makes it nice because you wouldn’t have to keep moving the sweeper!

Got a small apartment with tight places, so the Super Stretch Hose would allow me to leave the vacuum in one place, and still reach the hard to reach places.

The best feature to me is the Quick Release Telescopic Wand. I like this because from the time you release it from the main part of the vacuum, the suction remains, travelling from the part where you clean the floor right into the wand so you can clean areas other than the floor.

I like the HEPA filtration. It captures 99.97% of pet dander, dust mites, pollen and mold for a cleaner home. Right now my roller is busted, so I have to vacuum my home with only the hose. When hubby gets called back to work the first thing I will do is buy a new vac. Even when the roller worked, I never felt like my floors were really clean. My favorite feature of the Electrolux is the one most evident in the product’s name itself – the fact that it’s versatile enough to work on both carpets and hard surfaces. Since we have several different flooring surfaces throughout the home, it would be amazing not to have to switch between products to get our household cleaning accomplished. I like the on/off brushroll for cleaning our house bcz it works for both carpets and hard floors, a big plus in my book! This feature would help me get some Spring cleaning done!

I love that the vacuum is bagless, I hate having to empty out the bag out of our current vacuum
I am excited about the HEPA filtration that captures 99.97% of pet dander, dust mites, pollen and mold for a cleaner home. With three cats this would be great for my home.

I like that it has 30 feet of cord there is nothing worse than having a vac that has a short cord that feature would make my spring cleaning easier.

The on/off brush feature is great! It would allow me to quickly go from carpet to hardwood and get great cleaning power.
I like the Quick-Release Wand. It will help me to vacuum the stairs.
