I am a compensated Chief Waffle Officer for Eggo.
Among the things I know to be true with absolute certainty in life, my kids coming home from school hungry is at the top of the list. School lunches are mediocre at best, so when they come running home from the bus stop I know they’ll be looking for a little power-up snack to get them through chores and homework before dinner.
We keep lots of staples on hand like fresh fruit, yogurt and string cheese but sometimes it’s fun to throw together a creative snack. That’s where Eggo Waffles come in. They’re not just a breakfast food anymore!
These peanut butter and banana waffle bites are a fun little treat with protein, fruit and a whole lot of flavor thanks to the Eggo® Cinnamon Toast Waffles. These bite sized waffles are ready in minutes and come out of the toaster in a set of 4 mini waffles, perfect for mini snack sandwiches.
Put a dollop of peanut butter on each waffle or mix it up with other toppings like jelly, chocolate hazelnut spread or sweet marshmallow creme.
Next, add a thick slice of fresh banana. You could also use raisins, apple slices or your child’s favorite dried fruit.
Sandwich those cute little waffles together to make the perfect kid-sized peanut butter and banana waffle bite.
