Pretty much since the day I started posting pictures of my daughters, one comment about them I've gotten the most has been about the hair. Specifically the curls. When I was a kid, I dreamed of having a fancy doll, with hair I could brush, accessories and clothes I could dress her up in. Even more, I wanted a doll that looked like me. Last weekend my dear daughter celebrated her 4th birthday surrounded by all of her favorite people and things. On July 1st my first born daughter, my baby with the golden curly locks of hair turned FOUR YEARS OLD. 4!!!! Ack! Where did the time go? I can't believe I'm saying this but ... my daughter got her ears pierced. I've said many times that I would wait until my daughters were old enough to make a decision for themselves, like 14 or 18 or 30 but sometimes your parenting style changes. There's nothing like a completely natural smile to brighten your day. The only thing not natural in these photos is my daughters curly hair that seems to be missing.
