Ever since I received the Wilton Pops! Sweets on a Stick book I’ve been knee deep in cake balls … and squares, and triangles and various other shapes. My imagination ran wild with the decorating possibilities. So wild that I couldn’t help myself this past weekend when I spent a few hours decorating cake pop after cake pop all for Christmas gifts to share with friends and neighbors this week.
While I’m certainly no cake pop decorating queen, I love trying just to see what I can come up with and learn some new techniques along the way. So for the next week you’ll get a peek inside my kitchen as I went on a Christmas cake pop adventure. Below is just one example of what’s to come, all starting today and all featured at Oh My! Sugar High, so you’ll have to head over there and subscribe to the baking blog if you want to see all of these sweets on a stick.
If you’re looking for more cake pop inspiration, be sure to check out the Wilton Cake Pops Sweets on a Stick book that is now available on Amazon.

How the heck did you make the ribbon? Wow!
Such a shame she isn’t eligible to enter the Wilton contest, isn’t it? I can only imagine what she’d come up with!
The Christmas Present Cake Pops are awesome.
The Christmas present cake pops would be a cute ancillary gift on top of Christmas present boxes, for a “foodie” that appreciates food art.
Those look great!

Oh so pretty! Im debating investing in a cake pop pan!
With all that work, I’d almost hate seeing someone eat those.
My daughter wants to make these for this weekend’s inlaws Christmas. We still have to try these. I am thinking it has to be messy to make but OH what MASTERPIECES! I am thinking we need to start with something simple first, but am heading online to get ideas. What a fantastic CrAZe this has become! Cant wait to taste too, as I would choose cake over cookies any old day!
