I kid you not, it feel like I was just writing this post about Kaydee’s first day of Kindergarten and now she’s just graduated.

Here she was just moment before heading off to her first day of school.

And now here she is just after getting off the bus from her last day of Kindergarten.

That outfit she wore on the first day, it’s now part of Emma’s wardrobe. In less than a year this girl jumped up two clothing sizes, grew several inches and is well on her way to losing her first baby tooth. Now she can do simple math, read age appropriate books and writes actual sentences. Every time I think about it I’m blown away by how much she’s changed in so little time.

And she’s not the only one. Matt just moved on from 6th grade intermediate school and in a few short months he’ll be in 7th grade middle school.

But it’s not all over yet. Miss Emma will be starting pre-school this fall and this time next year will be our last summer break before all of my kiddies are in school full-time.

  1. Wow, she’s really grown up over the school year! Such a cutie. We are out this week. Bittersweet.

    • Yeah it really is. What’s more shocking right now is in a couple years I’m gonna have a kid in high school.

  2. Wow. She looks so much bigger! Its incredible how much a child changes in their first year of school. My kids last day of school is coming up and I cant wait to compare their first day vs their last.

Kaydee really does look older and more grown up! My son is also in Kindergarten and will be graduating in June. It is so foreign to me hat he will be a first grader in a few months. My daughter is only 1 so I have a few years left with her before she heads to school. But time seems to be flying by lately so I know it’s really only a matter of time when they will be graduating high school and going to college and having their own families.
