We’re two weeks into the new school year and I’m already get really bored with lunches. Sure we can have our usual frozen meals, hot dogs and soup but sometimes I’m just craving a change. But it also has to be something easy because I just don’t want to invest much time into preparing lunch.
A recent favorite is a lunch roll made with ingredients I already keep in my fridge. All you need is a can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (the 50% bigger ones), some lunch meat like honey ham, a bag of frozen broccoli in a steam bag and some shredded cheddar cheese.
Like in the picture below, these are really easy to assemble. Just preheat the oven as directed on the tube of rolls and steam a bag of broccoli while it’s preheating.
To assemble the rolls all you need to do is spread out the triangle dough sheets on a baking sheet, add a slice of ham, a spoonful of broccoli and a handful of the cheese and roll them up. These bake in about 20 minutes and come out as the perfect little lunch.
