30 days of elf on the shelf

The kids are having so much fun with their own little elves, Elmer and Ella, that I thought it would be fun to share all the daily antics they do. Maybe you’ll get inspired to have some fun with your own Elf on the Shelf. Each day the gallery of elf pictures will be updated below. Feel free to share your own elf pictures and blog posts in the comments.

Does your family have an Elf on the Shelf yet?

  1. Mary Beth Elderton says:

I’m finding it so funny that the elves are back. We had these exact elves growing up way back when–ours may still be with my mother’s Christmas stuff. I like that a new generation is having fun with these

    • I had no idea these elves have been around that long. I just found out about them last year and joined in the fun.

      • Mary Beth Elderton says:

They were around when I was a kid…in the 60’s! I don’t remember them called”Elf on a shelf” or my mother moving them around the house, but I do remember having a red one and a green one. I like the new games with them.

  2. This is so fun. I can’t wait to do this with the baby :)

  3. So many cute ideas! We are having fun with our elf too. :) I pinned a thing on pinterest that has 100 different ideas. Very creative, I could never come up with them on my own.

  4. Your magic seed was my favorite so far!

  5. Oh my gosh, how fun! They have the funniest little mischievous grins on them, don’t they?

    • They definitely do. Some people say they’re creepy but I think they’re kinda sweet and loads of fun for the kiddies.
