Wordless Wednesday – Cat Butt n Baby

wwcatbutt

Wordless Wednesday is back again, too bad I couldn't come up with anything more interesting that my cat's butt snuggled up next to my baby. (As a side not before all the SIDS preachers jump on me, yes, we do let our baby sleep on her belly under direct supervision, she is perfectly capable of moving her head side to side and she LOVES to sleep this way, 3 kids later and they've all survived, back sleeping reminders are not needed) If you'd … [Read more...]

What 48 hours of Laundry Looks Like

laundry

Just in case you've ever wondered with 48 hours worth of laundry looks like. To be honest, it will probably end up more like 96 hours worth because there's still 2 more baskets hiding in the laundry room. We spent the first 2 hours of Sunday organizing, separating, and stacking the laundry and managed to get 3 loads washed, dried, and hung. I'm hoping we finish another 5 loads by the end of Monday, 5 done on Tuesday and the last 2 (plus … [Read more...]

Shi Shu Baby Blanket Review

shi1

About Shi Shu Style: SHI SHU BABY™ blankets were designed with my son in mind. When he was born, he received several cozy, fluffy blankets from friends and family. Many of these blankets were made of microfiber/polyester. Unfortunately, my son's favorite blanket, made of microfiber/polyester, caused him to break out into a rash. That’s when I decided to design a line of blankets made only of natural fibers. When I started researching … [Read more...]

Goodnight from Emmaleigh

happysaturday

It's been a LONG week, and I can't emphasize the long part enough. From a poop covered toddler to never ending laundry, it's been a rough go this week. I was hoping to have a nice care-free weekend, get outside, breath that fresh spring air...unfortunately it looks like we're headed for...get this....SNOW! Come on now, it's almost April and we have a possible of 4 inches of this white crud coming. There goes my spring flowers that finally popped … [Read more...]

Mr. Not So Innocent

innocent

I'd like to introduce you to my cat...Mr. Not So Innocent aka 11lb Furball aka The Pain in My Rear aka Oscar the Grouch. Yes, he looks so soft, sweet, and cuddly, but don't let that fluffy gray exterior and lazy posture fool you, he's far from innocent! My husband and I have a running joke where you're not suppose to "get him wet after midnight"...you know where Gizmo turns into a monstor breeding thingamajig if he gets wet. I can't … [Read more...]

It’s Spring and We’re Treeless

magnoliasaucer

All I want for spring is a tree for my yard. That's not much to ask for right? We bought a new construction home almost 3 years ago and we still don't have any trees. This really makes me sad because my kids are missing out on the beauty of having one and all the fall fun that goes with them. For most people this wouldn't be a big issue, you can buy a tree just about anywhere. But for us, the problem is HUGE. Almost 8 years ago my husband … [Read more...]

Happy 1 Month Belated Birthday!

1month

I feel terrible, yesterday Emma was officially one month old and I completely forgot about it. Bad Mommy! But then again, it's a good day if I just remember her name. In the 4 weeks she's been with us I've probably called her Kaydence at least twice as much as I have her own name. It's quite confusing having two girls in the house. Casting the sleep deprivation, constant nucky diapers, and spit up aside, she's been such a blessing in our … [Read more...]
